Procurement and
Fabrication

  • 3D printing (additive manufacturing) using carbon fiber–reinforced materials, ASA, and nylon for custom brackets, mounts, fixtures, and prototype components

  • 3D scanning for reverse engineering, fit verification, and legacy component replacement

  • CNC fabrication (aluminum, plastics, and wood) to support custom-cut panels, mounting plates, enclosures, and structural components

  • Custom PCB fabrication and assembly, including board build, population, and testing to support control systems and electronic products

  • Custom cables and wire harnesses

  • Engraved labels and identification plates

Triad provides in-house component fabrication as a service, in addition to component procurement for assembly projects. This approach allows customers to rely on us to supply and coordinate the parts needed for a complete assembly—simplifying project execution from start to finish.

In-House Component Fabrication

Triad’s in-house component fabrication services are available à la carte, allowing customers to engage us for individual components or subassemblies without a complete system build.

Component Procurement

Component procurement is offered as part of our assembly services and is a key convenience of working with Triad. While we do not typically provide stand-alone procurement, our team manages sourcing when components are tied to an assembly project. This allows Triad to coordinate vendors, specifications, and lead times to ensure components arrive ready for assembly and integration, reducing delays and simplifying project management.

Commonly sourced components include:

  • CNC-fabricated sheet metal and polycarbonate parts

  • 80/20 T-slot framing extrusions, brackets and fasteners

  • Pneumatic valve blocks, cylinders and sensors

  • Touchscreen panels and HMIs

  • Robotics and automation components

  • Fiber optic sensors

  • Industrial printers

  • GPS tracking modules

  • Cellular modems

Fabrication and procurement activities are closely coordinated with assembly to limit part substitutions, reduce rework, and ensure proper fit and performance in the final build.
